Is counselling for you?

Whatever challenges you face, it can be a huge help to have a skilled and experienced counsellor to talk with, resolve issues, gain clarity, and work out what to do next.

Seeing a counsellor can feel a big step. Come and have a first session, and see if we can work together; counselling is a partnership, with two people thinking about one person's challenges.

I have worked in an NHS surgery and many other settings, so am used to handling many issues, whether of individual or couples. I am usually able to make counselling accessible to people of all backgrounds and heritages, whether this is your first session, or you have been in counselling for while.

Continued work, whether long or short term, can help you understand your challenges, feel more, and distinguish between the past and the present difficulties, allowing you to find a way ahead.

Taking the first step of seeing a counsellor can feel daunting and unnerving, but many people say it is one of the best things they have done.

What happens next?

You can email me via the Contact Us page, or you will find a phone number where you can leave a message, or a mobile you can text to. If you want to have an initial talk on the phone, that is fine, but the best is probably to come and have a first session to see if you want to work together.
